Learning Tips for you German language journey

Hey und hallo! Learning a new language like German a fun and entertaining process. However, we all know that when you encounter difficulties (in any situation) it’s hard to be optimistic. We all need a little bit of inspiration now and then.

What motivates you to learn German? Especially now, that we work from home and we usually stay at home all day.

Yes, learning a new language is easier as a child but there is no cutoff point! We are happy to help you improving your German skills.

Here is our top 7 learning tips!

  1. For grammar rules in particular! Learn faster and make sure you really understand the rules by explaining the rules yourself. Imagine that you teach someone else what you are learning. 

  2. Naptime! Sleeping between two learning sessions greatly improves retention.

  3. Change! Changing the way you learn can help you master it faster.

  4. Keep it short! Learn more efficiently in 30-50 minutes sections and a 10 minute break in between.

  5. Make notes! Use cards and write your notes with pen and paper instead of digitally!

  6. Review! Reviewing the information one to two days after you first learned it.

  7. Relax! Downtime is important! Relax between your learning sessions.
