Service Description

Our A1.1 INTENSIVE Beginner Course is your entry into learning the German language. No previous knowledge or very little knowledge of the German language is required to join. A passionate and enthusiastic native German teacher will guide you through 6 weeks of interactive and fun lessons. Each course has 10 students maximum, guaranteeing a personal and progressive learning style, where small class sizes = big progress. The content of our A1.1 beginner course includes the following topics: - Introduction to the German language and its alphabet (A, B, C...). - Basic greetings and introductions in German, such as "Guten Tag!" (Good day!) and "Wie heißt du?" (What's your name?) - Numbers, days of the week, and months of the year in German. - Simple vocabulary related to everyday life, such as the family, food, leisure activities, and the house. - Simple sentence structures and grammar rules, such as word order and the use of articles. - Basic conversation skills, such as asking for directions or ordering food in a restaurant. - Listening and comprehension exercises to improve understanding of spoken German. - Writing and reading exercises to improve literacy skills. - Cultural aspects of the German-speaking countries, such as traditions and customs. Throughout the course, you will engage in a variety of activities to practice your language skills, including: - Listening and speaking exercises with native speakers - Reading and writing exercises to reinforce grammar and vocabulary - Simulations to practice real-world scenarios - Games and group activities to encourage collaboration and communication By the end of the course, students should be able to: - Understand and use basic German vocabulary and grammar structures - Express themselves in simple and practical situations - Read and write basic German texts - Have a foundation for continuing language learning at the A1.2 level Books: the fee is €36; we will send you all information after the booking.

Cancellation Policy

T&Cs @GermanMind - we keep it simple: If you have to cancel your spot in a group course, please contact us at least 72 hours (3 full days) in advance to avoid being charged the full course fee. Late cancellations are charged 100%. If necessary, you can cancel via email: info@germanmind.ie. Replacement lessons, if necessary, and classes on Bank Holidays are moved take place on Friday or Saturday of the same week. We will not accept responsibility for personal injury, damage or loss of a student's property.
